थाना राया पुलिस द्वारा सोमवार को प्रभावी कार्रवाई करते हुए एनडीपीएस एक्ट से संबंधित एक वांछित वारंटी अभियुक्त को गिरफ्तार किया गया। गिरफ्तार अभियुक्त की पहचान पवन कुमार पुत्र दाताराम, निवासी नगला अम्बू, थाना राया, जनपद मथुरा के रूप में हुई है।
पुलिस के अनुसार अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध मुकदमा संख्या 202/2021, धारा 21/22 एनडीपीएस एक्ट के अंतर्गत न्यायालय द्वारा वारंट जारी किया गया था। वारंट की तामील के क्रम में थाना राया पुलिस टीम ने अभियुक्त के निवास स्थान पर दबिश दी, जहां से उसे सफलतापूर्वक गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
गिरफ्तारी के बाद अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध नियमानुसार आवश्यक विधिक कार्यवाही की गई है तथा उसे न्यायालय के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा है। थाना राया पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से क्षेत्र में कानून-व्यवस्था को लेकर सकारात्मक संदेश गया है।
