ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટી ગુજરાત પ્રદેશ મીડિયા વિભાગ એક અખબારી યાદીમાં જણાવે છે કે, યુવા મોરચા દ્વારા 25 જુલાઇ કારગીલ વિજય દિવસની પૂર્વ સંધ્યાએ જીલ્લાઓમાં મંડલ સહ અને મહાનગરોમાં વોર્ડ સહ વિશાળ મશાલ રેલીનુ આયોજન હાથ ધરાશે. યુવા મોરચા દ્વારા એક નિશ્ચિત કરેલા સ્થાને એક હજારથી વધુ યુવાનો ભેગા થઈ વીર યોદ્ધાઑ જેમને પોતાનું જીવન બલિદાન આપ્યું હોય એવા વીર શહીદોના પરિવાર જનોના નિવાસ સ્થાનેથી મશાલ રેલીનું પ્રારંભ કરાશે અને વિજયદીપ ૨૫ કલાક પ્રજ્વલિત રાખવામા આવશે.
આ મશાલ રેલીમાં સાઉન્ડ સ્પીકર સાથે દેશભક્તિનું વાતાવરણ ઊભું થાય તે પ્રકારના ગીતો સાથે શહીદોને યાદ કરી વિવિધ શહીદોના પ્લેકાર્ડ સાથે રાખી મોટી સંખ્યામાં કોલેજના યુવાનોની જોડી ભારતે દુશ્મનોને કારગીલ યુદ્ધમાં ધૂળ ચટાડી વિજય મેળવ્યો હતો તેના વિષે માહિતગાર થાય તે પ્રકારનું આયોજન યુવા મોરચા દ્વારા હાથ ધરવામાં આવશે.
ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટી દ્વારા ૨૬ જુલાઇ કારગીલ વિજય દિવસ નિમિત્તે જીલ્લા અને મહાનગરમાં વિજયદીપ સાથે શહીદોનેશ્રદ્ધાંજલી આપવા ૨૫ વર્ષ પૂરા થયા છે તે નિમિત્તે શ્રદ્ધાંજલી કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન હાથ ધરવામાં આવશે. જેમાં, શહીદ થયેલા જવાનોના પરિવારજનોને સન્માનિત કરવામાં આવશે. આ સંમેલનમાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં યુવાનો અને કોલેજીયનો ઉપસ્થિત રહેશે. આ સભા સ્થળે વિજય દિવસ સંદર્ભે વિજયદીપ પર એક પ્રદર્શની પ્રસ્તુત કરવામાં આવશે.
કારગિલ વિજય દિવસ ભારતના સશસ્ત્ર દળોના શૌર્ય અને બલિદાનને યાદ કરવા અને સન્માન કરવા માટે 26 જુલાઈના રોજ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. આ યુદ્ધમાં અનેક જવાનોએ પોતાના પ્રાણોની આહુતિ આપી હતી. કારગિલ યુદ્ધમાં ભારતીય સેનાના 527 જવાનો શહીદ થયા હતા અને 1,363 જેટલા ઘાયલ થયા હતા. કારગિલ વિજય દિવસ એ તેમને યાદ કરવાનું અને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપવાનું એક અવસર છે. આ દિવસ દેશભક્તિ અને રાષ્ટ્રપ્રેમનું પ્રતીક છે. ભારતના લોકો આ દિવસે પોતાની રાષ્ટ્રીય ભાવનાઓને વ્યક્ત કરે છે અને સશસ્ત્ર દળોના યોગદાનને વંદન કરે છે.
