    શ્રી સી.આર.પાટીલજીએ જણાવ્યું કે, ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટીના સંસ્કાર છે કે, પાર્ટી નો કાર્યકર્તા તેનો જન્મદિવસ ઉજવે તો ચેક્કસ પણે સવારે મંદિરમાં જાય દર્શન કરે અને તરત જ બ્લડ ડોનેશન કેમ્પનું આયોજન અથવા મદદ માટે જાય અને પોતાના પરિવારના કોઈપણ સભ્યનો જન્મદિવસ લોકઉપયોગી કાર્ય કરીને ઉજવતો હોય છે. આજે રક્તદાન શિબિરનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે અને થેલેસીમિયાનાં બાળકોને રક્તની ખુબ જરૂર પડતી હોય છે. આજે 4000 યુનિટ એકત્ર કરવા સાથેનો કોઈ એક શહેરમાં ટાર્ગેટ થાય ત્યારે મને ચોક્કસ માનવજાત પર વિશ્વાસ આવે છે. સૌ કોઈ જ્યારે દાન કરે છે ત્યારે ભગવાન પાસે પણ ચોક્કસ એનો ભાવ હોય છે કે ભગવાન મારી મનોકામના પૂર્ણ કરજે પરંતુ જ્યારે રક્તદાન કરવા આવેલા વ્યક્તિઓ રક્તદાન કરે ત્યારે ભગવાનને પ્રાર્થના નથી કરતો. આ રક્ત કોને મળવાનું છે કયા ધર્મ કે કઈ જાતિને મળવાનું છે તે ન આપનાર ને ખબર છે કે લેનાર ને ખબર છે. લેનાર કદી આભાર વ્યક્ત કરવા નથી આવવાનો અને આવા નિસ્વાર્થ ભાવે કોઈ રક્તદાન કરે છે માટે ગુપ્તદાન કરતા રક્તદાનને વધુ મહત્વ આપવામાં આવે છે.

    શ્રી પાટીલજીએ વધુમાં જણાવ્યું કે, રક્ત કોઈ ફેક્ટરીમાં નથી બનતું એ કુદરત સર્જિત છે. રક્તદાન કરતા તમામ લોકોમાં ક્યાંક ને ક્યાંક કંઇક કરી છુટવાની ભાવના અને માનવતા છે અને તેનું નિમિત આજે મૌલીકભાઈનો જન્મદિવસ બન્યો છે. રાજકોટ શહેરની અંદર ૭૦ જેટલી સંસ્થાઓ જ્યારે તેમની સેવામાં તત્પર હશે સેવામાં આવ્યા હશે ત્યારે તેમને વિચાર આવ્યો કે જન્મદિવસની ઉજવણી કરીએ અને ચોક્કસપણે સમાજસેવા સાથે અને સંસ્થાઓ સાથે જોડાયેલા લોકોના જન્મદિવસની ઉજવણી કરવાથી અન્ય લોકોને પણ તેમાંથી પ્રેરણા મળતી હોય છે. મન જ્યારે મક્કમ હોય કે હું સેવા કરવા માટે છું, મારે સેવા કરવી છે ત્યારે તમારો આત્મવિશ્વાસ પણ વધશે. આજે આ કાર્યક્રમની પ્રેરણા લઇ એક નહિ પરંતુ અનેક મૌલિકભાઈ ઉભા થાય અને સેવાકીય પ્રવૃત્તિમાં જંપલાવે તેવી શુભકામનાઓ અને શુભેચ્છાઓ આપું છું.
