नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत थाना राया पुलिस ने बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। पुलिस ने एक युवक को 01 किलो 500 ग्राम अवैध गांजा के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, 01 जनवरी 2026 को मुखबिर की सूचना पर थाना राया पुलिस टीम ने जयपुर–बरेली हाईवे स्थित सुथरिया कट के नीचे से अभियुक्त निर्भय पुत्र श्री रामवीर, निवासी ग्राम बिरहना, थाना राया, जनपद मथुरा (उम्र करीब 21 वर्ष) को दबोच लिया। तलाशी के दौरान अभियुक्त के कब्जे से भारी मात्रा में अवैध नशीला पदार्थ गांजा बरामद हुआ।
कानूनी कार्रवाई
बरामदगी के आधार पर थाना राया में मु0अ0सं0 01/2026, धारा 8/20 एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज कर आवश्यक विधिक कार्यवाही की जा रही है। पुलिस रिकॉर्ड के अनुसार अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध एनडीपीएस एक्ट में यह पहला मामला है।
