On Friday, January 23, 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami and Khandelwal Day, a patriotic documentary film on Vande Mataram was launched online under the joint auspices of the All India Khandelwal Vaishya Mahasabha and the All India Khandelwal Sumadhura Sakhi Saheli Manch.
The documentary, with a duration of approximately 8 minutes and 40 seconds, was formally launched by Ramesh Chandra Gupta (Tunga Wale), President of the All India Khandelwal Vaishya Mahasabha and the chief guest of the program.
The documentary film was produced by Sucheta Sankunia of the Kolkata unit of the Sakhi Saheli Manch. The script for the Vande Mataram presentation was written by Sudha Rawat, while the concept and direction were handled by Madhu Khandelwal. Videography and editing were carried out by Madhu Kath and Archana Jhalani.
Speaking on the occasion, Sakhi Saheli Manch Convener Madhu Khandelwal stated that President Ramesh Chandra Gupta congratulated all office bearers and members of the 130 branches of the Sakhi Saheli Manch functioning across various states and districts of the country. He emphasized that the documentary on Vande Mataram reflects the spirit of patriotism and should serve as an inspiration for all. Madhu Khandelwal also highlighted the journey, activities, and future plans of the Sakhi Saheli Manch, noting that the organization has produced more than 60 videos on Vande Mataram, which is a remarkable achievement.
The program was inaugurated by Rashmi Thakuria by lighting a ceremonial lamp before the images of Goddess Saraswati and National Saint Shri Shri 1008 Sundar Das Ji Maharaj.
On this occasion, Sanjeev Katta, Chief Executive President of the Mahasabha, extended his best wishes and encouraged the continuation of such creative initiatives. Ram Niranjan Khuteta, Editor-in-Chief of the Mahasabha Magazine, congratulated all participants. Professor Ramesh Kumar Rawat, Registrar of Sikkim Professional University and spokesperson of the Mahasabha, stressed that programs based on patriotism and love for the nation should continue in the future and called upon everyone to contribute. National Youth Coordinator Sharad Pharsoiya also shared his views, stating that the documentary inspires patriotism and love for the country.
The event witnessed participation from numerous office bearers, executive members, life members, and dedicated workers from states including Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, as well as major cities such as Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Ratlam. Prominent attendees included Sanjeev Kumar, Manoj Jhalani, Saroj Tungawala, Savita Koolwal, Meena Natani, Shikha Natani, Krishna Kanungo, Suchita Sankuniya, Madhu Kath, Sudha Rawat, Rashmi Khandelwal, Archana Jhalani, Raj Khandelwal, and Dr. Usha Tambi. All participants highly appreciated the work of the Sakhi Saheli Manch and emphasized the need to continue such constructive and nation-building activities in the future.
