ब्रज क्षेत्र के प्रसिद्ध कस्बा सुरीर स्थित देवी मैया एवं श्रीराम मंदिर परिसर में इस वर्ष सुरीर देवी मेले का 58वां वार्षिकोत्सव बड़े ही धूमधाम और धार्मिक उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाएगा। विश्व कल्याण की कामना के साथ यहां 18 मार्च से 29 मार्च 2026 तक शतचंडी महायज्ञ का भव्य आयोजन होगा। मेले को लेकर क्षेत्र में अभी से श्रद्धालुओं और भक्तों में उत्साह देखने को मिल रहा है।
मेला कमेटी के सचिव ठा. गंगाधर सिंह के अनुसार 18 मार्च को देवी मैया की नगर भ्रमण यात्रा के साथ मेले का शुभारंभ किया जाएगा। 19 मार्च को कलश स्थापना, दुर्गा सप्तशती पाठ, आरती और रात्रि में भजन-कीर्तन का आयोजन होगा। इसके बाद प्रतिदिन दुर्गा सप्तशती पाठ, हवन-यज्ञ, आरती और भक्ति कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे।
26 मार्च को अष्टमी के अवसर पर विशेष पूजा-अर्चना के साथ भव्य काली झांकी निकाली जाएगी। 27 मार्च को यज्ञ की पूर्णाहुति दी जाएगी तथा रात्रि में काली झांकी और भक्ति कार्यक्रम होंगे।
28 मार्च को शिव जलाभिषेक, काली झांकी और आतिशबाजी का भव्य प्रदर्शन होगा। वहीं 29 मार्च को पारंपरिक कुश्ती दंगल के साथ मेले का समापन किया जाएगा।
मेले के दौरान 26, 27 और 28 मार्च को शाम 6 बजे निकाली जाने वाली काली झांकी विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र रहेगी, जिसे देखने के लिए दूर-दराज के क्षेत्रों से बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंचते हैं।
इस आयोजन की व्यवस्थाएं महंत बाबा रघुनंदन दास जी महाराज एवं मंदिर समिति द्वारा की जा रही हैं। आयोजकों ने क्षेत्रीय जनता से अधिक से अधिक संख्या में पहुंचकर धर्म लाभ लेने की अपील की है।
