ग्रामीण पत्रकार एसोसिएशन उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेंद्र नाथ सिंह के निर्देश पर पत्रकारों के हितों से जुड़ी सात सूत्रीय मांगों को लेकर मथुरा जनपद में एकजुटता देखने को मिली। मथुरा जिला अध्यक्ष विनोद अग्रवाल के नेतृत्व में सभी तहसीलों के पदाधिकारियों एवं पत्रकारों का प्रतिनिधिमंडल मंगलवार को मथुरा की सांसद हेमा मालिनी के आवास पर पहुँचा और मुख्यमंत्री के नाम संबोधित ज्ञापन सौंपा।
जिलाध्यक्ष विनोद अग्रवाल ने बताया कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में कार्यरत पत्रकार अत्यंत कठिन परिस्थितियों में पत्रकारिता का दायित्व निभा रहे हैं। उन्हें सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, मान्यता प्रक्रिया की जटिलताओं और बुनियादी सुविधाओं की कमी जैसी अनेक समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ता है। इन्हीं मुद्दों के समाधान के लिए यह सात सूत्रीय ज्ञापन पूरे प्रदेश के सांसदों एवं विधायकों को सौंपा जा रहा है।
ग्रामीण पत्रकार एसोसिएशन उत्तर प्रदेश पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में प्रिंट एवं इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया से जुड़े पत्रकारों का प्रदेश का सबसे बड़ा संगठन है, जिसका पंजीकरण संख्या 1153/86 है। संगठन की इकाइयाँ प्रदेश के 18 मंडलों, 75 जनपदों और 551 तहसीलों में सक्रिय रूप से कार्य कर रही हैं।
ज्ञापन में प्रमुख रूप से तहसील स्तर पर पत्रकारों को मान्यता देने की प्रक्रिया को सरल बनाने, पत्रकार हितों की रक्षा के लिए जिला, मंडल एवं तहसील स्तर पर स्थाई समितियों के गठन, ग्रामीण पत्रकारों को आयुष्मान कार्ड व परिवहन निगम की बसों में निःशुल्क यात्रा सुविधा, राजधानी लखनऊ में संगठन के लिए कार्यालय भवन, ग्रामीण पत्रकार आयोग के गठन तथा पत्रकारों पर एफआईआर दर्ज करने से पूर्व सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा जांच की व्यवस्था जैसी मांगें शामिल हैं।
इस अवसर पर जिला अध्यक्ष विनोद अग्रवाल के साथ उपाध्यक्ष तेजवीर सिंह, मंत्री बलवीर सिंह, सदर तहसील अध्यक्ष अनुज सिंघल, छाता तहसील अध्यक्ष विक्रम सैनी, महामंत्री सत्यपाल सिंह सहित विभिन्न तहसीलों से आए दो दर्जन से अधिक पत्रकार साथी उपस्थित रहे।
