आज दिनांक 30 अक्टूबर 2023 को 84 उत्तराखंड बटालियन एनसीसी, रुड़की के कमान अधिकारी कर्नल रामाकृष्णन रमेश द्वारा माउंट ठेलू, उत्तरकाशी ह मनाली पर्वतारोहण व ग्लेशियर दल के पर्वतारोहियों एनसीसी कैडेट्स का बटालियन परिसर में जोरदार स्वागत किया गया वह उनकी इस उपलब्धि पर उन्हें बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं दी गई ।आज बटालियन पहुंचे कैडेट्स में एसयूओ खुशी पवार पुत्री श्री संजय कुमार निवासी ग्राम मिरगपुर, देववृन्द जो बीएसएम (पीजी) कॉलेज, रुड़की की एनसीसी कैडेट है द्वारा उत्तरकाशी जिले में स्थित 6002 मीटर में स्थापित माउंट ठेलू पर पहुंचने वाली उत्तराखंड राज्य की इकलौती एनसीसी कैडेट का जोरदार स्वागत किया गया । वहीं दूसरी ओर अटल बिहारी वाजपेई पर्वतारोहण व खेलकूद संस्थान, मनाली द्वारा आयोजित पर्वतारोहण व ग्लेशियर कैंप में उत्तराखंड राज्य से चयनित कैडेट ज्योर्तिमय सपरा पुत्र श्री संजय कुमार सपरा निवासी प्रीत विहार रुड़की व कैडेट निशांत उपाध्याय पुत्र श्री नित्यानंद उपाध्याय निवासी ढंडेरा, रुड़की द्वारा हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुल्लू जिले में आयोजित किए गए पर्वतारोहण व ग्लेशियर कैंप में सफलतापूर्वक प्रतिभाग कर बटालियन के साथ-साथ एनसीसी ग्रुप मुख्यालय रुड़की व समस्त रुड़की शहर निवासियों का भी नाम रोशन किया गया । आज बटालियन में आयोजित किए गए स्वागत समारोह में सूबेदार मेजर केदार सिंह, सूबेदार यतेंद्र सिंह, सूबेदार संजय कुमार सामल, सूबेदार पंकज पाल, मुख्य सहायक गोपाल शर्मा व कैडेट्स को इन महत्वपूर्ण कैंपों में प्रतिभाग करने के लिए प्रेरित करने वाले सीनियर ट्रेनिंग को-ऑर्डिनेटर श्री रवि कपूर, संदीप बूडाकोटी, सुनील, अश्वनी, राजवीर, विमल, पुरुषोत्तम, सुभाष, अनुज गिरी आदि उपस्थित रहे ।
