भगवानपुर क्षेत्र स्थित पीएम श्री राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज सिकन्दरपुर भैंसवाल के प्रांगण से लगभग 150 छात्र-छात्राओं ने शैक्षिक भ्रमण के अंतर्गत शुक्रताल का भ्रमण किया। इस दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने वहां स्थित लगभग 5100 वर्ष पुराने अक्षय वट वृक्ष को देखकर उसके ऐतिहासिक, सांस्कृतिक एवं धार्मिक महत्व को समझने का प्रयास किया।
महाभारत काल से जुड़ा है शुक्रताल का पौराणिक महत्व
विद्यालय के प्रवक्ता विश्वास कुमार ने विद्यार्थियों को ऐतिहासिक स्थल के पौराणिक महत्व की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि महाभारत युद्ध के पश्चात ऋषि शुकदेव ने अभिमन्यु के पुत्र राजा परीक्षित को लगभग 5 हजार वर्ष पूर्व इसी अक्षय वट वृक्ष के नीचे श्रीमद्भागवत कथा का श्रवण कराया था। यह स्थल सनातन संस्कृति और धार्मिक परंपराओं का महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र माना जाता है।
शिक्षकों और कर्मचारियों ने किया मार्गदर्शन
शैक्षिक भ्रमण के दौरान विद्यालय से गए शिक्षक विश्वास कुमार, अजय कुमार शर्मा, संदीप कुमार कोशिश, सुशील सैनी तथा कार्यालय कर्मचारी अंकुर मिश्रा, जितेन्द्र कुमार हलदर, कल्पना देवी और आनंद सिंह नेगी विद्यार्थियों के साथ उपस्थित रहे। सभी ने छात्र-छात्राओं को महाभारत कालीन इतिहास, संस्कृति और विरासत को प्रत्यक्ष रूप से समझने में सहयोग किया।
