मंगलौर। हरिद्वार। नेहरू इंटर कॉलेज मंगलौर में आयोजित माध्यमिक विद्यालय जिला स्तरीय ताइक्वांडो चयनप्रतियोगिता में हरिद्वार जनपद के 6 ब्लॉकों नारासन, रुड़की, बहादराबाद, लक्सर, खानपुर तथा भगवानपुर के विभिन्न विद्यालयों के प्रतिभावान खिलाड़ियों ने अंडर 14, 17 तथा 19 वर्ग में भाग लेकर ताइक्वांडो प्रतियोगिता में अपने प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया।
प्रतियोगिता का उद्घाटन विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्य एकता वासुदेव ने किया उन्होंने कहा ताइक्वांडो के द्वारा बेटियां अपनी आत्मरक्षा बड़े बेहतरीन ढंग से कर सकती हैं अतः बेटियों को ताइक्वांडो खेल को अवश्य अपनाना चाहिए जिससे वह अपनी सुरक्षा करने में समर्थ हो।जिला खेल समन्वयकहरिद्वार गजेंद्र सिंह ने मुख्य अतिथि का आभार प्रकट किया और बताया कि जिले स्तर पर चयनित प्रतिभावान छात्र-छात्राएं राज्य स्तर पर आयोजित होने वाली माध्यमिक विद्यालय प्रतियोगिता में हरिद्वार जिले का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगी।
प्रतियोगिता में धनंजय मलिक, सुषमा पांडे, अरुण मलिक, मनजीत सिंह राणा, राहुल शर्मा तथा अलीशा चौधरी ने उपस्थित होकर अपना सहयोग दिया।
