गुजरात की डायमंड सिटी सूरत से एक बेहद दुखद और चौंकाने वाली खबर सामने आई है। मॉडल सुखप्रीत कौर, जो कि मध्य प्रदेश की रहने वाली थीं, शनिवार को अपने किराए के कमरे में संदिग्ध हालत में मृत पाई गईं। उनकी उम्र मात्र 19 वर्ष थी और वे मॉडलिंग में करियर बनाने के उद्देश्य से में सूरत आई थीं। वो 3 अन्य युवतियों के साथ रहती थी।
पंखे से लटका मिला शव
सुखप्रीत सूरत के सरोली इलाके के कुंभारिया गांव स्थित सारथी रेजीडेंसी में किराए पर रह रही थीं। शनिवार को जब उनकी एक सहेली बाहर से लौटी और कमरे का दरवाजा खोला, तो सुखप्रीत को पंखे से लटका हुआ पाया। उसने तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी। पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा।आत्महत्या या कुछ और? पुलिस सभी एंगल से जांच में जुटी
प्राथमिक तौर पर ये मामला आत्महत्या का माना जा रहा है, लेकिन चौंकाने वाली बात ये है कि मौके से कोई सुसाइड नोट बरामद नहीं हुआ। इसलिए पुलिस इस केस को हर एंगल से जांच रही है। उनका मोबाइल फोन जब्त कर लिया गया है और उसे फॉरेंसिक जांच के लिए भेजा गया है। इसके अलावा उनके साथ रहने वाली युवतियों से भी पूछताछ की जा रही है।
घटना के वक्त अकेली थीं सुखप्रीत
पुलिस के अनुसार, घटना के समय सुखप्रीत अकेली थीं। उनकी तीनों रूममेट्स बाहर गई हुई थीं। फिलहाल पुलिस कॉल डिटेल्स, सोशल मीडिया इंटरैक्शन और पारिवारिक पृष्ठभूमि की भी जांच कर रही है ताकि ये पता चल सके कि कहीं किसी दबाव, तनाव या मानसिक परेशानी का कारण तो नहीं था।
परिवार और मॉडलिंग जगत में शोक की लहर
इस घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही सुखप्रीत के परिजनों को सूचना दे दी गई है और उनके सूरत पहुंचने का इंतजार किया जा रहा है। सुखप्रीत को जानने वालों का कहना है कि वो बेहद हंसमुख और उत्साही स्वभाव की थीं और हाल ही में कुछ प्रोजेक्ट्स को लेकर काफी खुश भी थीं। हैरानी की बात ये है कि वो 4 दिन पहले ही सूरत आई थीं।
