रुड़की। हरिद्वार। दून पब्लिक स्कूल के प्रांगण में बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ लीग वॉलीबॉल प्रतियोगिता खेलो स्कूल स्पोर्ट्स प्रमोशन ट्रस्ट द्वारा आयोजित की गई जिसमें 8 स्कूलों की टीमों ने भाग लिया तथा अपनी प्रभा का प्रदर्शन किया।
इस प्रतियोगिता का उद्घाटन प्रसिद्ध समाज सेविका भावना पांडे ने किया उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में उपस्थित प्रतिभावान खिलाड़ियों का हौसला बढ़ाया और कहा कि बालिकाएं समाजके विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं।इस अवसर पर प्रतियोगिता के आयोजक जहीर अहमद, चैंपियन सूरज रोड मुख्य अतिथि का स्वागत तथा आभार प्रकट किया।प्रतियोगिता का फाइनल मैच और मेमोरियल हरिद्वार तथा स्पोर्ट्स अकैडमी रुड़की के मध्य हुआ जिसमें आर मेमोरियल हरिद्वार विजेता बना।
प्रतियोगिता को संपन्न कराने में उपाध्यक्ष चंचल रोड, विपिन राजपूत, आशीष शर्मा, शोभित चौधरी, श्याम अली, कबीर आदि खेल प्रेमियों का योगदान रहा।
